June 2024 Precipitation Summaries + 2023-2024 seasonal round-up

The data used in this chart comes from the NWS Spokane website using the years from 1893 to the present. A precipitation event is any day that received 0.01" of rain and/or 0.1" of snow.

The first chart is of the total precipitation which usually falls in June. The red line is what was received in June 2024 - somewhat below average.

The next chart is of the total precipitation events in June, with the red line being the precipitation events in June 2024.

The next chart is total snow events for the July 2023 through June 2024 snow season compared to the 1893-2023 average. This is unsurprising since this past winter was a strong El Nino winter.

Next is a chart of average snow totals (1893-2023) with a red line for the 2023-2024 season.

The next chart is total precipitation event totals (1893-2023) with a red line for July 2023 through June 2024.
